Olympic & World Champion Rulon Gardner to be contestant on Season 11 of 'The Biggest Loser'

Olympic and World Champion Rulon Gardner has been announced as a participant on the NBC hit show "The Biggest Loser." Gardner and business partner Justin Pope will be one of the numerous "friends and family" teams on Season 11.
Gardner rose to national fame after winning the 2000 Olympic Games, defeating Russian Aleksandr Karelin to claim gold. Gardner followed up his Olympic championship with a World Championship in Greco-Roman the following year.
He finished his wrestling career with a bronze medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
