Registration for the 2009 USA Wrestling Preseason Nationals opens on Sept. 1

USA Wrestling is excited to present the second annual Folkstyle Preseason Nationals.
The event will take place in Cedar Falls, Iowa at the University of Northern Iowa's UNI Dome on October 31st, 2009. This prestigious tournament is open to all Middle School and High School wrestlers nationwide.
Registration opens on September 1st at 5:00 pm EST and will be limited to the first 1,200 wrestlers that register.
Last year, there were wrestler's from 30 different states that participated. Featured were numerous state champions and state placewinners, including many athletes who have been All-Americans on the national level.
High School (9th - 12th Grade) weight classes - 103, 112, 119, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 152, 160, 171, 189, 215 and 285.
Middle School (6th - 8th Grade) weight classes - 70, 77, 84, 91, 98, 105, 112, 120, 128, 136, 144, 152, 160, 190, 210, 265
The Middle School division is being contested for the first time in this popular event.
It is a double-elimination format and the tournament will be wrestled to the top eight in each weight bracket.
Don't miss this outstanding competition. This is a great event for motivated athletes to prepare for the upcoming high school and middle school seasons.
