Keith Wilson has proven his ability as a top international wrestling coach.
He coached Clarissa Chun to a berth in the 2008 Olympic Games in women's freestyle wrestling and followed by working her corner when she won a World title last October.
Wilson hopes to lend his expertise to wrestlers of all ages and genders in his newly opened club in Colorado Springs.
Rough House MMA and Fitness, located in south Colorado Springs just off Academy Blvd. near the Citadel Mall, held its grand opening last Saturday.
"We're excited about the opening of this club," Wilson said. "We probably had over 100 people show up for the grand opening. We have a lot to offer."
Wilson is running the club along with women's wrestler Tori Adams and Mixed Martial Arts guru Donnie Liles.
Wilson said the club will welcome wrestlers of any age group and skill level.
"We want to build champions in all styles and at all levels," he said. "Whether it's on the local level or all the way up to the Olympic level, we can help the wrestlers improve and achieve their goals."
The club also caters to different disciplines of Mixed Martial Arts. It also will offer training in grappling and boxing. Classes also will be offered in cardio kickboxing.
