USA and Germany women to face off Wednesday night at Doherty High School in Colorado Springs

The USA Women's National Team and German Women's National Team will compete in an exhibition dual in Colorado Springs prior to the Doherty High School wrestling match Wednesday.
The USA vs. Germany dual meet is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. Following at 7 p.m., the Doherty Varsity takes on Rampart Varsity at 7 p.m. and the Doherty Junior Varsity will face Rampart and Palmer Ridge Junior Varsity.
Included on the U.S. team are 2008 World Team member Deanna Rix, 2007 World Team member Leigh Jaynes, and 2007 Junior World champion Whitney Conder.
The German National Women's Team, coached by Jurgen Scheibe, is in Colorado Springs for the 2009 Dave Schultz Memorial International Open February 5-8.
"We want to give our international teams more when they come here. We're trying to make their trip worthwhile," said National Women's Coach, Terry Steiner. "It's a great thing for them to get in the competitive spirit before Schultz."
