USA Wrestling’s Future Olympian Rankings updated through June 10th

The U.S. Future Olympian Rankings have been updated through June 10th, 2009 in all age divisions. The current top point scorer in each weight class at every age division is listed below.
Wrestlers in each division and weight class should be prepared to add to their point totals at the Northern Plains Kids & Cadets Regional Championships this weekend, June 11-13, 2009 in Rockford, Illinois and the Southern Plains Regional Championships this weekend, June 11-13, 2009 in Hays, Kansas.
The U.S Future Olympian Ranking program is designed to recognize the performance of America's most talented wrestlers, based upon actual results in major USA Wrestling events.
Included in the point system will be USA Wrestling events in the following age-group divisions: Intermediate, Novice, Schoolboy/girl, Middle School, Cadet, and Junior. In each age division, specific national and regional events in freestyle, Greco-Roman and folkstyle wrestling will be used to score points.
There are still opportunities to add points to rankings. Here are the following events that will count in the Future Olympians Rankings:
June 11-13 - Northern Plains Kids & Cadet Regional Championships GR/FS in Rockford, Illinois
June 11-13 - Southern Plains Regional Championships GR/FS in Hays, Kansas
June 21-27 - West Kids & Cadets Regional Championships GR/FS in Pocatello, Idaho
