Gabrielle Henry highlights list of champions from University Nationals in women's freestyle

AKRON, Ohio - Gabrielle Henry was named Outstanding Wrestler after earning a University Nationals women's freestyle championship on Sunday at the University of Akron Field House.

Henry won the title at 51 kg/112 lbs. Henry beat Emily Martin 2-1, 4-0 in the finals. Henry wrestles for the University of the Cumberlands.

Junior World champion Nicole Woody pinned Oklahoma City University teammate Stephanie Waters in the finals at 48 kg/105.5 lbs.

Oklahoma City's Michaela Hutchison won the title at 55 kg/121 lbs. with a win over teammate Ashley Hudson.

Melissa Apodaca of the U.S. Olympic Education Center knocked off Vanessa Oswalt in the finals at 63 kg/138.75 lbs.

Oswalt was second earlier this month at the U.S. Nationals. Apodaca was fifth in that event.
