USA Wrestling is excited to present the inaugural Boys and Girls Folkstyle Preseason Nationals.

The event will take place at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Des Moines, Iowa on Oct. 25. It is open to all high school wrestlers nationwide in grades 9-12. The Boys and Girls will wrestle in separate divisions.

Wrestlers from 15 states have already registered for this event.

"USA Wrestling is excited to partner with Brian Keck, Iowa USA Wrestling and the City of Des Moines, for the first Preseason Nationals," said Pete Isais, USA Wrestling's National Events Director. "All those involved have a vision of providing high school wrestlers with a chance to compete prior to their traditional high school seasons. There was a need for this particular competition and USA Wrestling is pleased to provide additional opportunities and experience for our members."
