Field grows for Preseason Folkstyle Nationals in Iowa, with registration deadline on Oct. 21

The USA Wrestling Boys & Girls Preseason Folkstyle Nationals are accumulating a strong field of wrestlers for the exciting new national tournament.
The event will take place at Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Des Moines, Iowa on Oct. 25. It is open to all high school wrestlers nationwide in grades 9-12. The Boys and Girls will wrestle in separate divisions.
Already 20 State Champions and 28 State Runner-up wrestlers make up a field of more than 300 wrestlers from across 33 states.
Female wrestlers are strongly encouraged to participate in the USA Wrestling Girls Preseason Nationals so they can gain experience wrestling in a national tournament.
Weigh-ins are on Friday, October 24th at Veterans Auditorium from 6:00 - 9:00 PM.
The tournament will begin on Saturday, October 25th at 8:00 AM.
Registration is expected to rapidly increase as the registration deadline approaches at midnight on October 21st. To register for this tournament and to view the current wrestler list, go to

USA Wrestling will be offering a NCEP Bronze Clinic at the USA Wrestling Boys & Girls Preseason Nationals in Des Moines, Iowa.
