USA Wrestling is currently accepting applications for consideration as a 2008 U.S. World Team Coach for Grappling.
The 2008 U.S. Grappling World Team will travel to Lucerne, Switzerland for the Grappling World Championships on December 20-21.
All coaches seeking to be considered must hold a current 2008-09 USA Wrestling Coaches membership. The coach must be available from December 9-21 to participate in the World Team Training Camp, as well as accompany the team to Switzerland for competition.
Applicants will be evaluated by the ad-hoc Grappling Committee based on experience and participation in USA Wrestling's Grappling program.
To be considered, a coach must send the following:
1. 2009-2102 Grappling Coaching Pool application
2. Cover letter or personal statement explaining why the coach should be selected
3. Current USA Wrestling coach membership card number
