Several European wrestling clubs are looking for American high school or club teams to come over for friendly competitions and training sessions. Athletes of all skill levels are welcome, as they will be paired with opponents of a similar skill level.
World Sports Alliance, the Official International Exchange Coordinator of USA Wrestling, currently has invitations from Poland, Germany, Greece, Bulgaria, France and Spain.
World Sports Alliance facilitates these requests by putting together complete travel packages for US teams wishing to take advantage of this opportunity.
A typical package will include international air, hotel accommodations, 2-3 meal per day, airport transfers, English speaking guides, sightseeing excursions, admission fees to scheduled attractions, sports accident insurance, USA Equipment package as well as organized wrestling competitions and training sessions. The Head Coach or Team Leader travels free.
World Sports Alliance offers a very successful fundraising program to help the athletes raise the funds needed to participate. Various payment plans are also made available. Family members and additional coaching staff are also invited to participate.
Interested coaches and club organizers should call World Sports Alliance as soon as possible, to lock up your destination of choice, at 888-972-8687.
