55 kg/121 lbs. - Henry Cejudo, Colorado Springs, Colo. (Sunkist Kids)

Gold medal finals - Henry Cejudo (USA) dec. Tomohiro Matsunaga (Japan), 2-2, 3-0

First period - Matsunaga scored a one-point single leg takedown to a pushout at 1:10 to lead 1-0. Cejudo took a leg shot and scored a two-point exposure, with Matsunaga getting a reversal at 2-2. No more scoring. Cejudo won the period by scoring the higher value move, a two-pointer.

Second period - Cejudo hit a high crotch and took Matsunaga to his back for three points in just 12 seconds to lead 3-0. Cejudo got a low single leg, which Matsunaga countered and time ran off the clock to 1:43 when the officials stopped the move. Cejudo held off Matsunaga attacks until the time ran out.

Semifinals - Henry Cejudo (USA) dec. Namig Sevdimov (Azerbaijan), 3-5, 3-2, 4-3

First period - Henry hit an outside single leg, which Sevdimov countered and the athletes rolled through. The officials went to the video, giving two points to each wrestler, 2-2. Sevdimov shoots on Cejudo, who goes out of bounds and the points go to Sevdimov, 4-2. Sevdimov counters a Cejudo body lock for another takedown, 5-2. A Cejudo low single makes it 5-3 at 1:45. Cejudo can't get the gutwrench to go and time runs out,

Second period - Sevdimov sinks an underhook, gets a high single, but an athletic Cejudo gets out of the hold. Cejudo hits a low single and converts the takedown at 45 seconds, 1-0. Cejudo goes into a leg shot, Sevdimov counters in the crotch, and the officials call the move two points for each wrestler, making it 3-2 Cejudo at 1:10. Sevdimov forces an underhook, Cejudo counters and the period ends.

Third period - Cejudo gets a low single takedown at 17 seconds, 1-0. Sevdimov counters a Cejudo shot with a body lock and ties it with a takedown, 1-1 at 35 seconds. Another low single gets countered for a possible exposure, and Cejudo comes out on top. Officials go to the videotape and award two points to each wrestler, 3-3. Cejudo gets a single, takes him down at 1:36, 4-3.

Quarterfinals - Henry Cejudo (USA) dec. Besarion Gochashvili (Georgia), 1-3, 3-2, 3-0

First period - Some initial sparing includes low single attempts for each wrestler. Gochashvili scores a takedown and Cejudo gets a reversal at 55 seconds, 1-0. Gochashvili gets a two point reversal at 1:19, 3-1.

Second period - Cejudo gets a low single and quickly converts a gutwrench to lead 3-0 at 30 seconds. Gochashvili scores on a low single at 58 seconds, 3-1. Gochashvili gets another takedown at 1:35, 3-2. Another Gochashvili shot gets to Cejudo but he defends.

Third period - Cejudo attempts a shot that gets blocked. Cejudo is doing all the attempts early on. A Cejudo low single is converted for takedown, and a quick ankle lace brings another point, 2-0, 1:25. Cejudo adds a takedown at 1:35 to make it 3-0.

First match - Henry Cejudo (USA) dec. Radoslav Velikov (Bulgaria), 0-1, 3-2, 4-3

First period: Cejudo starts off stalking Velikov, making a number of reaches for a low single but not making a shot. Cejudo also worked his head, looking for a front headlock. Velikov attempts to tie up the arm. No. takedown. Ball is blue. Velikov secures single leg in the clinch. Velikov quickly snaps the leg in and brings down Cejudo for the takedown, 1-0.

Second period: Velikov gets a single leg, lifts it high, and almost gets a takedown. Cejudo counters with skill for a takedown and immediately gets a gut wrench at 25 seconds, 3-0. Velikov gets a takedown at 1:30 to make it 3-1, but can't turn Cejudo. Velikov hits a low single with four seconds left to close it to 3-1 but time runs out.

Third period: Cejudo gets a low single, Velikov counters it for two points exposure, and Cejudo comes out on top for the takedown, 2-1, at 25 seconds. Cejudo scores another takedown at 11 seconds to make it 2-2. In a scramble, Cejudo exposes Velikov's back and gets control for a takedown to exposure at 1:03 for 4-2. Velikov gets a takedown in the final second, making the final score, 4-3

60 kg/132 lbs. - Mike Zadick, Solon, Iowa (Gator WC)

Repechage match - Bazar Bazarguruev (Krygyzstan) dec. Mike Zadick (USA), 1-0, 3-0

First period - No takedowns were scored, with both wrestlers working for position but unable to get a serious shot. The ball was blue. Barzarguruev got the leg clinch position and took Zadick down for the takedown.

Second period - Zadick picked up the pace but once again, neither wrestler was able to complete a leg attack. The ball was blue. Barzargurev got the leg clinch, took Zadick down to his back for three points to win the match.

First match -Vasyl Fedoryshyn (Ukraine) dec. Mike Zadick (USA), 5-0, 6-0

First period - Fedoryshyn gets a takedown, and quickly hits a gut wrench to lead 3-0 at the 45 second mark. Fedoryshyn adds another two points. Zadick is unable to complete a shot in the rest of the period.

Second period - Fedoryshyn scores on a low single and gets behind at 45 seconds. Fedoryshyn executes two straight gut wrenches for four points and a 5-0 lead at 1:05. Fedoryshyn counters a Zadick shot, spins behind for a takedown and makes it 6-0, a technical fall to end the match.
