Bronze Medal Match: Byers dec. Yannick Sczzepaniak (France), 1-1, 2-0, 2-1

No scoring in the first minute. Neither wrestler is able to score from the top position so both wrestlers earn one point. The 1-1 tie goes to Sczzepaniak because he was able to defend Byers in the final :30 seconds and scored the last point.

No scoring in the first minute. Sczzepaniak escapes quickly from the bottom position, but Byers scores one-point at 1:29 when Sczzepaniak steps out of bounds. Byers earns a second and final point when he defends Sczzepaniak from the bottom position.
