Vesper, WI: A new play-by-play feature being offered by Trackwrestling.com will allow parents and fans to 'watch' their wrestler's match unfold online in real time for the finals matches at the upcoming national championships in Fargo, ND.
This service is now available for the championship rounds of the ASICS/Vaughan Junior Nationals and the Accelerade Cadet Nationals in all styles.
So what is play-by-play? For those of you who like to feel the excitement of witnessing a match unfold rather than just hearing about a final score - this is for you. Play-by-play projects the current score of a match in real time. Users can see when points are scored, how they were scored, and by whom.
The cost of this new service depends on the refresh rate (the number of times the computer will check for updates on your match and refresh your screen) you prefer. Prices start at $.02 per minute which equates to one refresh per minute.
If you are very interested in a particular match, you can increase your refresh rate to more times per minute. If not, you can dial it down. You get the best of both worlds because you choose how much to pay. If you only want to watch one match, you can do that. You only pay for the matches you want to enjoy. It is wrestling on demand.
To sign up for this service, visit www.trackwrestling.com and click on the 'Play by Play' link on the left side of the screen. The site will then guide you through the registration process. You can also contact Justin Tritz at justin@trackwrestling.com for more information.
