Oklahoma State's Johny Hendricks named Big 12 Wrestler of the Week

Johny Hendricks (Oklahoma State) has been named Big 12 Wrestler of the Week for his performances of January 23-28, the conference announced. Hendricks receives this recognition for the third time in his collegiate career.

During a pair of duals on the road, Hendricks defeated No. 5 Nick Baima of Northern Iowa, 2-1. It was his second victory over Baima as he also defeated him at National Duals on Jan. 13. Hendricks then defeated Iowa State's third-ranked Travis Paulson, 5-4. He rallied to win after giving up the first takedown and won with one minute of riding time. Hendricks is 25-0 on the season and has won 47 consecutive matches.
