Reno, Nev. - Wrestlers from Coast to Coast will travel to Reno, Nev., December 18-20 to compete in the 13th Annual Brute Reno Tournament of Champions at the Reno Downtown Convention Center.

Dubbed the "Toughest Tournament in the USA," the Brute RTOC will feature some of the top athletes on the collegiate and high school level. The three-day event begins with the college tournament on the first day followed by two days with the prepsters.

For the first time since 2005 Oklahoma State will not be the defending tournament champion. Last year, Central Michigan knocked off the Cowboys' string of four consecutive tournament titles with a mere one and a half point victory over the Pokes.

The Chippewas had a dominating performance sending five to the finals, but lost all five finals matches. CMU racked up 132.5 points, while the Cowboys crowned two champs but could only muster 131 points.

Easton will return to Reno this year as the defending tournament champion. Last year, the Red Rovers scored 202.5 team points (46 points ahead of runner-up U Perkiomen) to capture their fifth RTOC team title.

The college tournament begins at 9 a.m. (PST) on Dec. 18 inside the Downtown Convention Center, with the high school tournament beginning at 9 a.m. on Dec. 19 and 20.
