Department of Education requests more time in NWCA suit

Washington, DC - Friday, March 15, the US Department of Education requested and received an extension until April 17, 2002, to respond to the complaint filed on January 15, 2002, by the National Wrestling Coaches Association. Since that time, coaches associations from track, gymnastics, and swimming have joined the NWCA in the suit. Alumni associations from Syracuse, Yale, Marquette, and Bucknell are also allied with the NWCA.
