Williams, Skiles among double champions at USA Wrestling Central Regional

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The USA Wrestling Regionals Series continued over the weekend with nearly 2,000 athletes competing at the Central Regional Championships held at Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Ky.
Double champions in the Junior Boys division, winning both the freestyle and Greco-Roman events, were Dominic Way of West Virginia at 157 pounds, JayDen Williams of Michigan at 165 pounds and Victor Marks-Jenkins of Maryland at 190 pounds.
The Junior Girls had two athletes win first place in both freestyle and Greco-Roman tournaments: Chloe Skiles of Illinois at 115 pounds and KyLee Tibbs of Ohio at 155 pounds.
Three competitors in the 16U Boys division doubled up on gold medals: Carter Smith of Ohio at 106 pounds, Jaden Washington of Illinois at 126 pounds and Michael Carter of Michigan at 285 pounds.
Three athletes brought home double titles in the 16U girls division: Tatianna Castillo of Michigan of 110 pounds, Brooklyn Whited of Ohio at 135 pounds and Avery Ogles of Ohio at 170 pounds.
The top six boys and girls in each weight class of the Junior and 16U divisions have qualified for their respective state teams at the 2026 Junior and 16U Nationals in Fargo, N.D.
