WISCONSIN DELLS, Wis. – The USA Wrestling Regionals Series continued at the Northern Plains Regional Championships at Woodside Wisconsin Dells Center in Wisconsin Dells, Wis. The regional featured more than 2,200 athletes competing across 24 divisions.


The three-day event featured more than 40 wrestlers finishing as double champions.


In the Junior Boys division, Eldon Roth of Wisconsin at 100 pounds, Dakota Harmer of Michigan at 106 pounds, Titan Friederichs of Minnesota at 126 pounds, Gage Bjerga of Minnesota at 138 pounds, Musa Apshev of Illinois at 175 pounds and William Ward of North Dakota at 215 pounds all won freestyle and Greco-Roman championships.


Four of the five double champions in the Junior Girls division hailed from Minnesota. Caley Graber (135 pounds), Chloe Wehry (140 pounds), Cassy Gonzales (155 pounds) and Sarah Pulk (170 pounds) all hail from The North Star State and claimed two gold medals this weekend. Illinois’ Phoenix Molina was the lone non-Minnesota wrestler to claim two titles in the division. She won gold at 190 pounds in Greco-Roman and 207 pounds in freestyle.


Maximus Pearch of Illinois at 138 pounds, Dresden Beard of Kansas at 190 pounds and Sawyer Schendel of Minnesota at 285 pounds each finished as double champions in the 16U Boys division.


The duo of Aryanna Geiger and Aaliayah Miller were the only athletes to capture freestyle and Greco-Roman titles in the 16U Girls division. Illinois’ Geiger won her two titles at 135 pounds and Wisconsin’s Miller earned championships at 170 pounds.


The top six boys and girls in each weight class of the Junior and 16U divisions have qualified for their respective state teams at the 2026 Junior and 16U Nationals in Fargo, N.D.


Additionally, there were 14U, 12U, 10U and 8U tournaments held in freestyle and Greco-Roman for boys and girls.
