Illinois, Indiana Gold, Wisconsin Red and Iowa Collect Top Men’s Freestyle Seeds at Junior National Duals

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin – The top 16 seeds have been announced for men’s freestyle competition at the 2026 USA Wrestling Junior National Duals. Men’s freestyle dual action is set for Friday and Saturday at the Baird Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The top four overall seeds and the top seeds in each of the four preliminary pools are No. 1 Illinois (Pool A), No. 2 Indiana Gold (Pool B), No. 3 Wisconsin Red (Pool C) and No. 4 Iowa (Pool D). The remaining seeded teams will be slotted into each pool in order of rank. Brackets and real-time results from the event are available through USA Bracketing.

The top 16 teams were determined based on the aggregate style-specific PIN rankings of the athletes on the team, based upon the rules set in the Policies and Procedures for National Dual Championships. A full list of the top 16 seeds can be found below.
