WESLEY CHAPEL, Florida – Pennsylvania Blue completed a perfect run through the men’s freestyle division, earning its fourth consecutive men’s freestyle title at the 2026 14U National Duals in Wesley Chapel, Florida. On the final day of men’s freestyle action, Pennsylvania Blue earned three wins in the Gold/Silver pool, capped by a 42-32 victory over Maryland in the championship dual.

Pennsylvania Blue entered Friday’s championship dual after convincing wins over Wisconsin (44-30), Illinois (54-19) and California Gold (47-26) earlier in the day. Maryland also came into the title dual unbeaten, following victories over Minnesota (48-22), Michigan Blue (42-28) and Iowa (39-32).

Brody Brown placed Pennsylvania Blue ahead in the 115-pound opening match with a 10-0 statement victory. Maryland’s Esaias Perez (120) and Justin Wildy, Jr. (126) responded with back-to-back pins to swing the momentum and build a 10-4 lead.

A pin by Blake Kirby in the 132-pound match sparked a four-match run that gave Pennsylvania Blue a 21-10 advantage. The teams then traded wins over the next four matches, keeping Pennsylvania Blue in front heading into the lighter weight classes. Maryland’s Korbin Kiessling and Luke Briggs followed with consecutive 12-2 technical falls, and Caleb Tsikerdanos added a 5-1 decision to trim his team’s deficit to four, 33-29.

With the title on the line, Nathan Kasak (100) and Daniel Corbin (110) each registered 10-0 technical falls, slamming the door and giving Pennsylvania Blue two of the final three matches to lock up the championship.

In the third-place matchup, California Gold overpowered Michigan Blue, 51-22. Wisconsin finished fifth overall with a 39-34 win over Iowa, and Minnesota outlasted Illinois, 40-37, in the seventh-place dual to finalize the field’s top eight positions.

In addition to the Gold/Silver pool, the Bronze/Copper, Red/Blue, Yellow/Green, Teal and Purple brackets were contested on the final day of the 2026 14U National Duals. Final placements for the color pools are listed below.
