Indiana Gold, Pennsylvania Blue, Illinois and Iowa Red Collect Top Four Men’s Freestyle Seeds at 2026 16U National Duals

FARMINGTON, Utah – The top 16 seeds have been released for men’s freestyle competition at the 2026 USA Wrestling 16U National Duals. Men’s freestyle dual action is slated for Friday and Saturday at Western Sports Park in Farmington, Utah.

The top four overall seeds and the top seeds in each of the four preliminary pools are No. 1 Indiana Gold (Pool A), No. 2 Pennsylvania Blue (Pool B), No. 3 Illinois (Pool C) and No. 4 Iowa Red (Pool D). The remaining seeded teams will be slotted into each pool in order of rank. Brackets and real-time results from the event are available through USA Bracketing.

The top 16 teams were determined based on the aggregate style-specific PIN rankings of the athletes on the team, based upon the rules set in the Policies and Procedures for National Dual Championships. A full list of the top 16 seeds can be found below.

The men’s freestyle portion of the national duals begins at 8 a.m. MT on Friday, running through each of the preliminary pools. The color pools that determine final placement will begin during the Friday evening session and run through Saturday. A complete schedule is available on usawrestlingevent.com.
