USA Wrestling 16U National Duals Head to Farmington, Utah, June 10-13

The 2026 USA Wrestling 16U National Duals are set to take place at Western Sports Park in Farmington, Utah, from June 10-13. The tournament features dual meet competition between state association teams for the 16U Boys division. The four-day event showcases competition in freestyle and Greco-Roman disciplines.

The returning champions from the 2025 event in Herriman, Utah, are Wisconsin in freestyle and Pennsylvania in Greco-Roman.

At last year’s duals, Pennsylvania upended Wisconsin in the Greco-Roman championship match, 51-22. Pennsylvania won 13 of the 17 matches, with eight being bonus-point victories. California edged out Illinois in the third-place match, 40-33. Minnesota Blue placed fifth following a 59-20 win against Indiana. Utah Gold outlasted Washington, 41-36, in the seven-place bout.

In the freestyle portion of the duals, Wisconsin claimed gold after winning a 41-32 contest over Ohio. Wisconsin won 10 of the 17 bouts against Ohio. Minnesota Blue finished third with a 36-34 win over Pennsylvania Blue. Illinois took down Iowa Blue, 49-27, to finish fifth. In the seventh-place match, Indiana Gold won a narrow 37-36 dual over Oklahoma Outlaws Blue.

The first two days of competition feature Greco-Roman competition, with freestyle action over the final two days of the tournament.

An All-Tournament Team, featuring athletes who go undefeated in their individual matches with five or more wins in a specific style, will be announced after each tournament.

As of June 5, 44 teams from 35 state associations are entered in freestyle, and 39 teams from 32 state associations are entered in Greco-Roman.
