Fargo Beach Summer Kickoff Bash Returns for 2026; Boys divisions slated for July 13, Girls divisions for July 18

Beach wrestling returns to Fargo, N.D., for the 5th Annual Fargo Beach Summer Kickoff Bash, a supporting event for the 2026 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals. Hosted again at Gastropub Volleyball, the event will feature competition in the 16U and Junior Boys and 16U and Junior Girls divisions.
The 16U and Junior Boys divisions will be held on July 13, with check-in at 10 a.m. and competition at 11 a.m. For the 16U and Junior Girls divisions on July 18, check-in will be at 10 a.m., followed by competition at 11 a.m.
In 2025, Colorado won the Boys team title with four individual champions, three in the Junior division and one in the 16U division. Georgia fielded a team of 18 wrestlers and captured the Girls team title with five individual champions, including two in 16U and three in the Junior division.
The entry fee for the 2026 Fargo Beach Summer Kickoff Bash is $30, and the registration deadline is July 11.
The beach wrestling tournaments provide wrestlers at the 2026 U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals with an additional avenue of competition. Action in the Boys divisions will be hosted between men’s freestyle and Greco-Roman competitions. The Girls divisions at the beach wrestling tournament will be contested on day three of the women’s freestyle competition at the U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals.
The 5th Annual Fargo Beach Summer Kickoff Bash will be the fifth stop on Beach Wrestling’s 2026 Tour of America.
