Five wrestlers double up in Las Vegas with UWW Futures freestyle division titles

LAS VEGAS – 10 champions were decided in the UWW Futures freestyle division on Sunday afternoon at the 2026 U.S. Open Championships held at The Expo at World Market Center.

Five athletes who earned Greco-Roman titles earlier in the week secured freestyle titles today—Leyton Boyd at 28 kg, Kohyn Deputy at 31 kg, Theodore Moyer at 35 kg, Jaguar Madyun at 57 kg and Savva Gromyko at 68 kg.

The remaining four champions were John Cambra at 33 kg, Eli Lovasco at 38 kg, Knox Stamp at 41 kg, Bode Hutchinson at 45 kg and Marat Mints at 51 kg.

Boyd and Deputy scored technical falls in the finals, the only two athletes to win the title by bonus points in the championship match.

Mints, Madyun and Gromyko each won a round robin style bracket, while the other seven weight classes wrestled a true straight-line bracket to the finish.
