10 claim Greco-Roman titles in UWW Futures division at U.S. Open Championships

LAS VEGAS – 10 champions were decided in the UWW Futures Greco-Roman division on Saturday evening at the 2026 U.S. Open Championships held at The Expo at World Market Center.

Earning national titles were Leyton Boyd at 28 kg, Kohyn Deputy at 31 kg, Cameron Gilbert at 33 kg, Theodore Moyer at 35 kg, Iaromir Zhukovskii at 38 kg, Nehemiah Andronic at 41 kg, John Thomas at 45 kg, Colton Cox at 51 kg, Jaguar Madyun at 57 kg and Savva Gromyko at 68 kg.

Two picked up pins in the finals—Gilbert and Zhukovskii. Five others secured technical falls—Boyd, Deputy, Moyer, Andronic and Thomas.

Cox, Madyun and Gromyko each won a round robin style bracket, while the other seven weight classes wrestled a true straight-line bracket to the finish.

The U.S. Open Championships continue Saturday with the Senior Greco-Roman World Team Trials, plus freestyle action in the Senior, U20 and U17 divisions, starting at 10 a.m. (PT).
