LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Two of the national tournaments held on day one of the Pritchard Companies U.S. Open have advanced to the championship finals, the U20 National Greco-Roman Championships and the U15 National Greco-Roman Championships

Among the U20 Nationals finalists are returning champions Landon Drury of Betterman Elite Wrestling (63 kg) and Aden Attao of Suples WC (130 kg).

It will be an all-Colorado finals at 63 kg, as Drury will battle Otto Black of Colorado Top Team WC, who was fifth in the 2021 U17 World Championships.

Attao, a two-time U20 World Team member and 2022 U20 World bronze medalist, has won all three of his bouts by technical fall. He will face Hayden Simpson of the Cowboy RTC in the finals.

2022 U17 World champion and 2023 U20 World Team member Joel Adams of the Best Wrestler is among the finalists at 67 kg, where he faces Brennan Van Hoecke of Florida in the finals.

The Khosravy brothers, 19-year old Arvin and 17-year-old Arian, will meet in the 82 kg finals. Arvin is a two-time U17 World team member, having placed fifth in the 2022 U17 Worlds.

In the U15 Nationals, one returning Greco-Roman champions has reached the finals, Pennsylvania’s Keegan Bassett of the Young Guns WC at 41 kg. Bassett will battle Tyler Conzo of New York in the finals.

The other returning Greco-Roman champion in the draw was defeated in the semifinals at 44 kg, when Illinois Michael Rundell of Illinois beat returning champion Chase Karenbauer of the Bad Karma WC, 8-7.

At 75 kg, 2023 U15 Nationals freestyle champion Mario Hutcherson of Young Guns WC has reached this year’s Greco-Roman finals, where he will battle Ivan Ivanov of Suples WC.

The Greco-Roman championship finals in both the U20 Nationals and the U15 Nationals finals will be held at 6:30 p.m. PT.
