Repechage match 1 – Armen Vardanyan (Ukraine) dec. Jake Deitchler (USA), 1-1, 1-3, 1-1

First period – No takedowns on the feet, with some cautious pummeling.
Reverse lift 1 - The ball is blue. Deitchler is down. Vardanyan tries a gutwrench but Deitchler defends. One point to Deitchler, 1-0
Reverse lift 2 – Deitchler is up. Vardanyan gets up to his feet. Deitchler can not get a takedown. One point to Vardanyan, 1-1. Vardanyan wins by scoring the last point.

Second period – No takedowns on the feet, with some more spirited attempts.
