The white squad earned bonus points in three matches, including a Waymon May pin at 197 pounds. The white team won the first match of the dual at 125 pound when Bo Maynes jumped to an early 4-0 lead against Matt Ridings and held on for an 8-5 win. Red claimed the next two matches with a 3-2 Witt Durden victory over Melvin Lofton at 133 and 141-pound Michael Lightner's 20-7 major decision of Brett Robinson. Jared Frayer put the white back on top, 8-7, with a technical fall (20-5, 4:47) against Daniel Rubenstein at 149 pounds. At 157 pounds, Mark Worthy jumped out to an early 8-1 lead before winning by injury default just 2:43 into the match against Rosty Walker. The white team responded by posting two straight wins.
