CPOW Google+ Hangout On Air Series Concludes With FILA President Nenad Lalovic



NEW YORK, August 27, 2013 – With less than two weeks remaining until the International Olympic Committee makes their final decision on the future of Olympic wrestling, FILA president Nenad Lalovic will address the current state of wrestling and the future of the sport this Thursday August 29, 2013 at 5pm ET to conclude the Committee for the Preservation of Olympic Wrestling’s (CPOW) Google+ Hangout On Air series.

President Lalovic’s hangout will happen remotely from Buenos Aires, Argentina where he along with other FILA representatives will present wrestling’s bid to be place back into the Olympic program to the IOC Execute Board at the 125th IOC Session. The IOC will make their decision on which sport of out wrestling, squash and baseball/softball will be added on September 8, 2013. During his Hangout, Lalovic will outline FILA’s plans for their presentation, the adjustments wrestling has made since the IOC’s decision to remove it from the Olympic program and plans to help the sport grow and prosper for future wrestlers.

CPOW in conjunction with USA Wrestling and FILA is has hosted a series of Google Hangouts On Air for the past seven weeks with wrestling leaders, competitors, celebrities and fans to educate the world and show the IOC that the wrestling community is united to save the sport.

Fans can RSVP to this week’s event on the Keep Olympic Wrestling Google+ Page and watch it live on the Keep Olympic Wrestling YouTube Channel and TheMat.com.
