WATERLOO, Iowa—The Waterloo Bucks baseball team will recognize the oldest sport in the world during its game on Thursday, Aug. 8. The National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum is hosting “Wrestling Night” during the Bucks’ game against the Battle Creek Bombers. The game begins at 6:35 p.m.

Jim Miller, Tolly Thompson, Kyven Gadson, and Ryan Loder will be recognized before the game. There will also be an on-field wrestling demonstration.

“The Cedar Valley has the greatest wrestling tradition in the world,” said Kyle Klingman, director of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum. “We are honored that the Waterloo Bucks are letting us showcase this tradition with a special night for the sport of wrestling.”
