Keep Wrestling In the Olympics website launched to inform and network the wrestling community

A new website, Keep Wrestling In the Olympics (www.KeepWrestlingInTheOlympics.com) has been launched by USA Wrestling, providing another communications outlet to network the wrestling community online.

The website will provide up-to-the-minute updates on the breaking news about the IOC Executive Board recommendation that wrestling be removed as a core sport for the 2020 Olympic Games.

It also provides access to a variety of resources which assist wrestling supporters in their efforts to support the cause.

Fans will be able to support the cause by joining an email list where they can get updates on the effort. Those who wish to donate to the cause can also do so through the website. A variety of petitions will also be available for those seeking to add their name to these initiatives.

Access to official statements from USA Wrestling and other leading organizations will be provided. News stories, both from the United States and from international sources will be updated regularly and can be searched. Facts about Olympic wrestling will be provided and updated. Access to videos about this cause will also be available. Fans will also be able to post their thoughts on the International Wrestling bulletin board.

This website will serve as another gateway for those seeking to make a difference in the effort to retain wrestling on the Olympic program. It will supplement the Facebook page also entitled Keep Wrestling In the Olympics, as well as all of the content on the topic provided on TheMat.com and other USA Wrestling media outlets.
