Burroughs’ gold medal among 12 favorite moments from London Games in USOC Facebook poll

The U.S. Olympic Committee polled its fans on its popular Facebook page, and asked for their favorite moments from the 2012 London Summer Olympic Games.

With more than 500 responses, the USOC has published the top 12 moments from London based on fan response.

Making the top dozen moments was the gold-medal victory by U.S. men’s freestyle star Jordan Burroughs at the 74 kg/163 lbs. Burroughs added an Olympic title to his 2011 World title and remains unbeaten on the Senior level since concluding college.

To celebrate these Top 12 moments, the USOC has posted a cool photo gallery on TeamUSA.org with images from each of these special Olympic moments.
