U.S. wrestlers competing in Finland, France over Thanksgiving weekend



U.S. international wrestlers will compete in tournaments in Finland and France over the Thanksgiving weekend.

A team of six U.S. Greco-Roman athletes are scheduled to wrestle at the Haavisto Cup in Ilmajoki, Finland on Saturday, November 24.

Among the athletes on this Greco-Roman tour is 2011 U.S. World Team member Andy Bisek (Colorado Springs, Colo./Minnesota Storm) at 74 kg/163 lbs. Bisek won a gold medal last weekend at the Haparanda Cup in Sweden.

Three U.S. wrestlers will compete at the Henri Deglane Challenge in Nice, France, November 23-24. The team will consist of one athlete in each of the international styles.

Competing for the United States is 2011 World champion Adeline Gray (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC). Gray won her World title at 67 kg/147.5 lbs. She will move up to 72 kg/158 lbs. to compete in France. Gray was a University World champion in 2012 at 72 kg.
