The Fall 2012 Responsible Sports Community Grant from Liberty Mutual Insurance has officially started.

The Champions Wrestling Club from Mapleton, UT won a Responsible Sports Community Grant in Fall 2011. "There is great value in having parents and coaches learn the fundamentals of responsible parenting in a sports environment through your course work. We have had discussions about making it mandatory for parents to complete the coursework next year. We believe that changing the way that parents approach their roles when it comes to sports is very important and we see immense value in the programs you have developed. We look forward to further implementing these things into our club. The money is great, but the changes we are seeing in our wrestlers as a result of parents learning things from your materials is even better. We plan to use this much needed financial assistance to help update our facilities, provide added opportunities to club members and to supplement our growth efforts!" said team administrator Ben Gasser.
