iTopIt, a self serve frozen yogurt restaurant in Colorado Springs, Colo., will host a fundraising car wash for U.S. Olympic women’s wrestling team member Kelsey Campbell, along with some of her teammates, on Saturday, June 23.

The car wash will be held at White Water Rapid Wash, at its Barnes and Powers location, whose address is 4389 Integrity Center Point. It will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Proceeds from the car wash will serve as a fundraiser for Campbell, supporting her training for the 2012 Olympic Games in London, England. Campbell is a U.S. Olympic Training Center resident athlete, and will compete at 55 kg/121 lbs. in women’s freestyle wrestling at the Olympic Games.

iTopIt owners David and Brenda Begin helped organize this fundraising opportunity to help support the Olympic dreams of these women wrestlers.

Also assisting at the car wash will be Olympic teammates Clarissa Chun and Elena Pirozhkova, who are also U.S. Olympic Training Center resident athletes. All three of the Olympians will have special t-shirts available for purchase at the car wash.

Also scheduled to be part of the fundraiser is 2011 World bronze medalist Ali Bernard. Both Bernard and Chun placed fifth at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

Plans are underway for another fundraising event for the women wrestlers at an iTopIt store location in Colorado Springs at a later date. Information will be provided when available.

Come out, clean your car, meet new people and support America’s Olympic athletes.
