TheMat.com to webcast the U.S. Open and FILA Junior Nationals all weekend from Cleveland



USA Wrestling is proud to provide a live webcast of the U.S. Open, as well as the Men’s FILA Junior National Championships, from Cleveland, Ohio, all weekend on TheMat.com.

The U.S. Open will be held on Friday and Saturday, with a minimum of two live streams from the event both days. Jason Bryant and Van Stokes call the action during the key preliminary matches.

There will also be a live webcast from the championship finals, from both gold-medal mats, starting at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time. Larry Nugent and Mitch Hull will be on the call.

Entered in the field are World champions Dremiel Byers in Greco-Roman plus Kristie Davis and Clarissa Chun in women’s freestyle.

World medalists in the field are men’s freestyle wrestlers Jake Herbert and Tervel Dlagnev, women’s freestyle wrestler Elena Pirozhkova and Greco-Roman wrestler Justin Ruiz.

The FILA Junior Nationals webcast will have a minimum of two streams for each style. The Greco-Roman event was held on Thursday, with the freestyle scheduled for Saturday.

FOX College Sports will also be in Cleveland, filming a two-hour show from the U.S. Open finals. Jason Bryant and Van Stokes are on the call. Action in all three styles will be featured. Ten airdates have been announced starting Saturday, April 23. The updated schedule will be posted as received.
