NCAA announces 2010 Div. I Wrestling Championships have sold out of tickets

INDIANAPOLIS---The Division I Wrestling Committee, the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and the Omaha Sports Commission have announced that tickets for the 2010 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships are sold out.

“The committee is thrilled to see the wrestling championships sold out,” said Brad Traviolia, chair of the Division I Wrestling Committee and deputy commissioner of the Big Ten Conference. “This is a great indication of how the city of Omaha and the college wrestling community have embraced this championship event.”

The three-day event officially sold out on an all-session ticket basis last week, and because of this, no single session tickets will be available for the championships.

Live coverage of the quarterfinals at 10:30 a.m. Eastern, and semifinals at 7 p.m. Eastern, on Friday, March 19, will be telecast by ESPNU. Live coverage of the finals on Saturday, March 20, will air at 11 a.m. Eastern on ESPNU, and at 7:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPN.

The 2010 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships will take place March 18-20, at the Qwest Center Omaha in Omaha, Neb.
