A team of five U.S. men will compete against players from Brazil in a USA vs. Brazil team competition at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13 at the Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

This will be hosted between sessions of the second day of the Grappling World Championships.

Tickets for the Grappling World Championships are available in advance at Ticket Leap and at the door.

Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $10 for Seniors (65 and older) and $10 for Youth (15 and under). Tickets purchased Sunday will include admission to both the dual meet as well as the gi division of the World Grappling Championships which will begin at 9 a.m.

Team USA will be led by Olympian Ryan Reser (Colorado Springs, Colo. / USA Judo National Training Site at the Olympic Training Center / Boulder Judo Training Center) and two-time Pan Am medalist Garry St. Leger (Brooklyn, N.Y. / NYAC / Legrosports Starrett) who will compete in the 81kg and 90kg divisions, respectively.

Seventeen-year-old Andrew Porras (Hialeah, Fla. / USA Judo National Training Site at North Miami) will compete in front of a home crowd in the 73kg division after becoming one of the youngest male athletes ever to place at the Jose Ramon Rodriguez Championships where he won the silver medal in Cuba in April.

Julio Rodriguez (Colorado Springs, Colo. / USA Judo National Training Site at the Olympic Training Center / Boulder Judo Training Center), the #2-ranked senior 66kg player in the United States, will compete for the second time this year in this format after representing Team USA in the last dual meet against Brazil in October.
