U.S. Grappling Trials webcast set for 3 pm Pacific on Friday



TheMat.com will webcast live the finals of the No-Gi division of the U.S. Grappling World Team Trials in Phoenix, Ariz., Friday, October 23 at 3:00 p.m. Pacific time.

The event finals will be streamed live on TheMat.com.

Handling the broadcast duties on the webcast will be veteran wrestling announcer Jason Bryant, along with numerous special guests from the event. Among those helping with the broadcast will be USA Grappling National Coach Ricardo Liborio.

The U.S. Grappling World Team Trials is the qualifying event for the U.S. team which will compete at the FILA Grappling World Championships in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., December 11-13.

Fans can see the championship finals for all five disciplines of competition this weekend at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Ariz.

TheMat.com will also produce a live webcast of the gold-medal finals from the Sunkist Kids International Open of international wrestling.

There is no set time for the finals in any of the disciplines. Please check TheMat.com for updates on the estimated broadcast time each day.

The Gi Grappling competition at the U.S. Grappling World Team Trials will be held Saturday, October 24.

At the Sunkist Kids International Open, competition will be held in Greco-Roman and women's freestyle wrestling on Saturday, October 24. Competition will be held in men's freestyle on Sunday, October 25.

The Sunkist Kids International is regarded as a high-quality international competition, featuring many athletes who have won medals on the World level. There are expected to be numerous U.S. athletes who are contenders for future World and Olympic Teams, plus a number of talented international athletes from other nations.
