Junior National Duals underway in Oklahoma; Fans can follow action on internet and via text message

The United States Marine Corps Junior Duals National Championships are underway at Freede Wellness Center on the campus of Oklahoma City University in Oklahoma City, Okla.

The Greco-Roman competition is being held from Wednesday, June 27 through Friday, June 29. The Greco-Roman finals are set for Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The freestyle competition is being held from Friday, June 29 through Sunday, July 1. The freestyle finals are set for Sunday from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

The defending Junior National Dual champions in Greco-Roman is Missouri.

The defending Junior National Dual champions in freestyle is Illinois.

Junior Duals Freestyle results will have updated stories after the finals of each tournament.

In a special service provided by and USA Wrestling, fans can receive text message updates from the United States Marines Corps Junior National Duals sent to their cell phone or e-mail.

The service will provide instant results via text messages to cellular phones and/or e-mails. With text messaging, your phone will alert you as soon as the result of the match is entered online. The text message will include the names and teams of each wrestler, win type, and match score. You may need to contact your cellular phone company to be certain that your phone has an activated text messaging feature. The e-mail service works the same way, but you would receive an e-mail instead.

For the National Duals, you can receive results on a specific individual, a specific team, the results for a team at a specific weight class or an entire weight class.

To sign up, visit, and click the section on the left side of the website entitled "Txt Msg Results" or "Email Results."

This service will also be available for the ASICS/Vaughan Junior National Championships as well as the Accelerade Cadet National Championships later this summer in Fargo, N.D.
