USA Wrestling has announced that all athletes who wish to compete in the U.S. National Championships, the Veteran Nationals, the FILA Junior Nationals and the Western Junior Regionals set for Las Vegas, Nev. can now register for the event online.
These competitions are scheduled for the Las Vegas Convention Center, April 12-15, 2006. All participants in these events MUST REGISTER ONLINE. No onsite registration will be available.
The Las Vegas Sports Committee, host of these events, has set up a registration page for participants in every division to register.

A deadline has been set for all entries. All athletes in all divisions must register online before Tuesday, April 11 at 9:00 a.m. (Pacific Standard Time). There are NO EXCEPTIONS. Consent and waiver forms must be copied, completed and brought to check-in before weigh-ins.
This deadline will allow the seeding and separation committees to meet prior to the tournament, and for information on the participants to be posted in advance of the championships.

This is the second year that online registration has been required for the competitions held in Las Vegas. It was a major success last year, and allowed for better management of all phases of the tournament.
There is a new format for the U.S. Nationals men's competition, which features a Qualification Tournament for all participants (except for eight athletes in each weight class) on Friday, April 14, and then the U.S. Nationals competition on Saturday, April 15 with 16 participants in each division. In addition, organizers wish to remind all women wrestlers that the U.S. Women's National Championships will be held completely on one day this year, on Saturday, April 15. Weigh-ins for the women's competition will be the day before, Friday, April 14.
