Lawrence, Hahn and Rowlands in Clansmen finals

Three U.S. men's freestyle wrestlers have earned spots in the finals of the 2005 Clansmen International in Canada.

Wrestling for gold medals will be Jared Lawrence (Minneapolis, Minn./Minnesota Storm) at 66 kg/145.5 lbs., Damion Hahn (Minneapolis, Minn./Minnesota Storm) at 96 kg/211.5 lbs. and Tommy Rowlands (Columbus, Ohio/Sunkist Kids) at 120 kg/264.5 lbs.

Lawrence has defeated three Canadian wrestlers on his way to the finals, where he will face 2005 Junior World champion Shamil Batirov of Russia.

Hahn, who is 3-0 in the tournament so far, will wrestle a Canadian opponent in the finals.

Rowlands posted a 2-0 record against Canadian opponents to earn a trip to the finals, where he will face Marat Basiev of Russia, who placed third in this year's Russian Nationals.

Results will be posted on TheMat.com when they become available.
