U.S. wrestlers Warren, Ruiz and Byers weigh in and receive draws at the World Championships



The final three U.S. Greco-Roman wrestlers weighed in and received their draws on Saturday for the World Wrestling Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Competing at his first World Championships, Joe Warren (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC) will face Eric Buisson of France in his first match at 60 kg/132 lbs.

At 96 kg/211.5 lbs., Justin Ruiz (Colorado Springs, Colo./New York AC) will open the tournament against Azat Erkimbaev of Azerbaijan. Ruiz is competing in his second World Championships.

2002 World Champion Dremiel Byers (Colorado Springs, Colo./U.S. Army) will compete against Rocco Danielle Ficara of Italy in the opening round. This is Byers' second World Championship appearance.

All three weight divisions will begin and be completed on Sunday, October 2, the final day of the seven-day World Championships which began on Monday.
