Koscheck of Edinboro named EWL Wrestler of the Week

Our Eastern Wrestling League "Wrestler of the Week" for the week ended January 28, 2001, is Edinboro University junior JOSH KOSCHECK, from Waynesburg, Pennsylvania. Last weekend Koscheck hammered his way through the powerful PSAC Tournament (held at Clarion University), and was voted the Tournament's Outstanding Wrestler. Winning the crown at 174 pounds, Mr. Koscheck racked up two pins - the first in 40 seconds and the second in 30 seconds - and majored his Bloomsburg opponent 11-2 in the championship finals. Good job Josh! Further we take this opportunity to give a tip of the headgear to eight other EWL wrestlers who won titles at the PSAC's. They are: Trap McCormack (125), Scott Bair (133), Mike Maney (141), Jamarr Billman (149), and Avery Zerkle (197), all of Lock Haven; Ed Hockenberry (157) of Bloomsburg; and Bob Topper (184) and John Testa (285), both from Clarion.
