Each week, TheMat.com will select an Athlete of the Week, based upon performance within wrestling for that week. The selection committee will consider any level of wrestling, from youth programs through the Senior level. Pascoe, a senior 184-pounder at the Univ. of Nebraska, helped Nebraska reach its second-highest dual win total (19) in school history with two wins last week. On Saturday evening, Pascoe defeated 2004 All-American Kurt Backes, 9-6, to help the Huskers to a 16-15 defeat of then second-ranked Iowa State. For his career, Pascoe boasts a 97-33 record and has qualified for the NCAA Tournament three times. He is 24-2 so far this season. Pascoe is a Biological Sciences major.
