Longwood College signs Chris Davis of Virginia

Brent Newell, the head wrestling coach at Longwood College, a NCAA Div. II institution, has announced that Longwood has signed Chris Davis (Hickory H.S. '00) from Chesapeake, Va. Davis placed second at 215 pounds in the 2000 Virginia AAA States as a senior. He placed third at 171 pounds in 1999 Virginia AAA States as a junior and was a Virginia AAA State Qualifier at 171 pounds as a sophomore. He is projected to wrestle at 197 pounds in college.
