Mike Clair named Executive Director of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame State Chapter Program

STILLWATER, OK - On January 2, the National Wrestling Coaches Association Assistant Director Mike Clair began a new challenge as the Executive Director of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame State Chapter program. Over the past year, Mike Clair worked half of his time with the Hall of Fame as Executive Director of the State Chapter program and half of his time with the NWCA as Assistant Director/Treasurer. Both jobs evolved into full time responsibilities over the past year and Mike has moved to a full time position as Executive Director of the State Chapters of the Hall of Fame. Clair was on the Board of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame prior to working with the NWCA. He has also been intimately involved through various administrative capacities with the PIAA, Lancaster-Lebanon League and the Manheim Central Wrestling program for over 20 years. "We are excited about Mike coming on staff full time. He has done a great job in a part time capacity, and we anticipate with Mike's full time efforts, the State Chapter Program can reach new heights," said Myron Roderick, President of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Clair's responsibilities will include the administration and development of the Hall of Fame State Chapters in each of the United States on a full time basis. Currently, organized chapters have been established in 18 states.
