    ATHLETES

    All athletes who meet age group requirements, any existing state qualifying procedures and are current members of USA Wrestling are eligible to participate (see Qualification information below).

    Athletes MUST present proof of current USA Wrestling Membership Card (actual card or photo copy) at registration AND weigh-ins. If you do not have a copy of your USA Wrestling Membership Card, please contact your State Membership Director prior to the event. It is mandatory that you provide your USA Wrestling Membership Card Number when participating at all USA Wrestling events in order for your results to be correctly linked to your profile for the U.S. Future Olympian Rankings (click HERE for more information) and the Kids National Team website (click HERE for more information). USA Wrestling Athlete Membership Cards can be acquired from the State Chairperson or State Membership Director of the contestant's state of residence or online (click HERE). Secondary sports accident insurance is provided as a benefit of membership.

    JUNIOR DIVISION: Athletes shall be considered eligible to compete in Junior Division competitions if he/she is currently attending high school, or participating in a program considered by the State's Department of Education to be fulfilling the athlete's requirements for graduation from an accredited high school program, or if a summer event, attended high school, or participated in a program considered by the State's Department of Education to be fulfilling the athlete's requirements for graduation from an accredited high school program the Spring semester just prior to the summer event. In addition, the athlete has only four consecutive years to compete in the Junior Division once his/her class begins the ninth grade. Only wrestlers born September 1, 1993 and later who were enrolled in grades 9-12 during the 2013 spring semester are eligible. No wrestler who was enrolled in 8th grade during the 2013 spring semester will be allowed to enter. Any such wrestler who enters or competes will be penalized by forfeiting his/her eligibility in the next year's event in both styles.

    CADET DIVISION: Only wrestlers born in 1997-1998 are eligible.

    COACHES

    FLOOR PASSES ARE REQUIRED FOR FLOOR ACCESS. Floor passes will be issued at registration to those who met the requirements.

    All coaches that wish to gain access to the competition floor to coach athletes must have a current USA Wrestling Coaches Card. All USA Wrestling Coaches Membership Cards MUST be attained prior to the event, due to mandatory background checking. For a Coaches Membership Card, please click HERE. PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 30 DAYS FOR COMPLETION OF USAW COACHES MEMBERSHIP/BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS.

    Floor passes will only be issued to those individuals with a current USAW Coaches Membership Card and are a minimum USAW NCEP Bronze certified. Two certified coaches maximum allowed in each competitor's corner. To videotape any match at mat side, the operator must be one of the two certified coaches in the corner. NO COACHES ARE ENTITLED TO FREE ADMISSION FOR THIS EVENT, REGARDLESS OF THEIR USAW COACHES MEMBERSHIP STATUS.

    QUALIFICATION 

    Junior Division
    Wrestler must have qualified in a competitive event conducted under sanction of USA Wrestling in the state where he/she resides, and must be certified by the state association. For Mens Freestyle and Greco-Roman, each state may enter a maximum of forty-five (45) wrestlers in each style and a maximum of four (4) wrestlers in any one (1) weight class, per style. For Womens Freestyle, there is no limit for the amount of female wrestlers each state can enter in this style.

    In addition, the top three place winners from USA Wrestling's Junior Division Regional Championships and the FILA Junior National Championships qualify for this event but must still adhere to all individual state association policies.

    Cadet Division
    Wrestler must have qualified in a competitive event conducted under sanction of USA Wrestling in the state where he/she resides, and must be certified by the state association. Each state may enter a maximum of fifty-one (51) wrestlers in each style and a maximum of four (4) wrestlers in any one (1) weight class, per style. For Womens Freestyle, there is no limit for the amount of female wrestlers each state can enter in this style.

    In addition, the top three place winners from USA Wrestling's Cadet Division Regional Championships and the FILA Cadet National Championships qualify for this event but must still adhere to all individual state association policies.
