FILA LICENSES
Per new FILA regulations, all competitors are required to have FILA licenses prior to competing in FILA events. All wrestlers wishing to compete in the 2013 Dave Schultz Memorial International must contact Jaimie McNab (jmcnab@usawrestling.org) at USA Wrestling to purchase a FILA license.You will need to submit a headshot, copy of your passport, and credit card information. Cost is $110-115, depending on the exchange rate on the day of purchase. Please note that purchasing a license on-site at the event will cost twice the regular amount.
ATHLETES CARDS
All athletes (except foreign delegates) must be current USA Wrestling members to participate in the 2013 Dave Schultz Memorial International. All United States contestants must present proof of current USA Wrestling Membership Card at registration. USA Wrestling Athlete Membership Cards can be acquired from the State Chairperson or State Membership Director of the contestant's state of residence or online (click HERE). No prequalification required.
COACHES CARDS
In order to gain floor access, all domestic coaches must have a current USA Wrestling Coaches Membership Card. All USA Wrestling Coaches Membership Cards MUST be attained prior to the event, due to mandatory background checking. For a Coaches Membership Card, please click HERE.
AGE REQUIREMENTS
Men: Athletes born in 1993 or before are eligible. However, athletes born in 1994-1995 may compete with a written statement from a medical professional, on his/her printed stationery, attesting that the athlete is of sufficient physical and emotional maturity to participate at this level.
Women: Athletes born in 1993 or before are eligible. However, athletes born in 1994-1996 may compete with a written statement from a medical professional, on his/her printed stationary, attesting that the athlete is of sufficient physical and emotional maturity to participate at this level.
World Team Trials Qualifier
Wrestlers who meet the U.S. citizenship requirements
necessary for representing the USA in the World Championships and are the
highest placed athlete in each weight class (who haven't already
qualified) qualify for the
2013 World Team Trials.
