    All athletes who meet age group requirements, any existing qualifying procedures (please click HERE to read about the qualifying procedures in the Athlete Packet) and are current members of USA Wrestling are eligible to participate. All athletes and coaches must present proof of current USA Wrestling Membership Card at registration. To purchase a USAW Wrestling Membership Card, please click HERE. Alternatively, Membership Cards can be acquired from the State Chairperson or State Membership Director of the contestantís state of residence. Secondary sports accident insurance is provided as a benefit of membership. Just a reminder, all USA Wrestling Coaches Membership Cards MUST be attained prior to the event, due to mandatory background checking. For a Coaches Membership Card, please click HERE. PLEASE ALLOW UP TO 30 DAYS FOR COMPLETION OF USAW COACHES MEMBERSHIP/BACKGROUND CHECK PROCESS. Modification of the 2009 Junior World Team Trials approved by the Greco-Roman and Freestyle Sport Committees: Greco-Roman The winner of the FILA Junior Nationals in Las Vegas will be in the number one position for the final wrestle-off for the Jr World Team Trials. If that person also places in the top 7 in the Senior Nationals he will have the following options: 1) Wrestle for the Team in Colorado Springs May 22-23 in a best of three match against the mini tournament winner. 2) Delay the best of three match wrestle-off until two weeks after the Senior World Team Trials putting the wrestle-off on the June 12-14 weekend or by mutual agreement to June 19-21 weekend. Freestyle The highest placing individual at the Senior Nationals (must place in top 7) that is eligible to compete at the Junior Worlds will be placed in the number one position for the Junior World Team Final Wrestle-off. The following options are available to the Senior National highest place finisher that meets the established criteria above. 1) Wrestle-off for the Team in Colorado Springs May 22-23 in the best of three match against the winner of the FILA Junior National Champion and the mini tournament winner (single match). 2) Delay the best of three wrestle-off until two weeks after the Senior World Team Trials against the winner of the FILA Junior National Champion and the mini tournament winner (best of three matches) putting the wrestle-off on June 12-14 weekend or by mutual agreement to June 19-21 weekend.
